Jill Bennett Studio
Jill Bennett is an award winning artist that
resides in Marietta, Georgia. She earned her
Bachelor of Arts degree from West Georgia
College and continued formal instruction at
Kennesaw State University. She is a painting
instructor at the Art Place-Mountain View where
she teaches adult oil/acrylics.www.theartplace.us
Ms. Bennett is a conceptual artist that strives to
create interesting compositions. Her vivid
paintings justify her knowledge of color theory.
Ms. Bennett strives to be a well rounded artist by
working with different mediums and using them
in different methods. Her award winning oil
painting series, "The Garden of Life" is worked
in the grasaille method which many of the old
masters used in their paintings. This is when a
detailed monochromatic base or under painting
